The Graduate Junction Advice forums - Fair use policy
These forums are here for general discussion related to the forum's description. Ask others advice or share what you have learnt from experience. These forums are not intended for subject specific discussions. Please use the online research groups for that.
Where specific university protocol is concerned, we strongly encourage researchers to seek advice from their own university advisors or supervisor(s). We are aware, however, that a new researcher may not always feel confident enough to say they don't know or ask for help from their supervisor/university first. By asking fellow young researchers to point you in the right direction, we hope will give confidence to ask in the future.
REMEMBER: These forums are general discussion areas and should only be used as supplementary information alongside your institutions' own advice resources.
We monitor forum content as much as possible and reserve the right to remove any posts which we deem to be detrimental to the rest of the forum. If you wish to complain about another post use the contact links at the foot of each page.
We have added these forums to allow researchers to exchange useful advice, tips and stories. Any content which contains personal insults, inflammatory or derogatory statements and is generally detrimental to what we are trying to achieve can, and will, be removed and the person who posted the offending remark may be banned from the site. We also do not allow any posts which appear to contain unsolicited spamming or advertising.
We may occasionally moved topics to different forums if we think they would be more appropriate elsewhere.
If you would like any of your comments removed then email The Graduate Junction, quoting the content of your post and your email address and it will be taken down as soon as possible. The request must come from the email address with which you registered for The Graduate Junction.
